God has a soul or what we might call emotions and feelings. ( He is like us, for we are like him )
The Soul of God
Jer 32:41-“I will rejoice over them to do them good and will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.
God Loves
Jer 12:7 - I have given the beloved of My soul Into the hand of her enemies.
God Laughs
Ps 2:4 - He who sits in the heavens laughs,
God Sings and Rejoices
Zeph 3:17 - The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

God Grieves and can be hurt
Judg 10:16 - And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
Jer 8:2121 For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt. I am mourning; Astonishment has taken hold of me.
Ezek 6:9 how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes which played the harlot after their idols;
Gen 6:6 The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
Can be Vexed or tormented
Isa 63:10- But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them.
God Gets angry and jealous
Ezek 38:18- For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken:

Emblems of The Person of The Holy Spirit
1. The Dove | Luke 3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, /
2. Water | St. John 7:38-39 “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, “From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; /
3. Fire | Acts 2:3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit / / Luke 3:16 He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
4. Wind | Acts 2:2; And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, / / John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” /
5. Cloud | 2 Chron 5:13 and when they praised the LORD saying, “He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting,” then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, / / Num 9:15Now on the day that the tabernacle was erected the cloud covered the tabernacle / / Math 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!” /

9. Earnest, Guarantee, pledge | Ephesians 1:13-14 you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession / / 2 Cor 1:22 He has put his brand upon us-his mark of ownership-and given us his Holy Spirit in our hearts as guarantee that we belong to him and as the first installment of all that he is going to give us. /
