Object of Class:
The Student will complete this class with a basic understanding of the OT Prophets
They will study the Life, Culture, purpose, and calling of the 3 Major and 12 Minor Prophets – and a light overview of Daniel
The Class Overview will cover:
The Prophets themselves (the calling, Kingdom of Ministry, time frame, Purpose)
Will cover what the prophet wrote (which book and details of his book)
Will cover the context (events in Jewish and world history around the prophets life)
Will strongly cover in depth the lives of (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel)
Class grades will be made up of:
Reading the Prophetic books (Isaiah – Malachi)
Quizzes over the prophets and their books
Test (The Kingdoms & Empires & a Mid-term & a Final)
Home work assignments on Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel-

The divided kingdoms & Surrounding nations
The Assyrian Empire
The Babylonian & Persian Empires
