There are 3 levels of Prophetic Ministry
Personal Prophets: Edification & Exhortation I Cor 14
Building Prophets: Haggai, Zechariah
Prophesied to the building process and labored to build
Kingdom Prophets: Watchmen over nations
The Role of Seasoned prophets:
Called to confront what’s in error in the church and things that would prevent God’s people from growing; They confront & build, commends for what is good and what is lacking.
Jesus spoke of 3 leavens:
John the Baptist confronted all 3
Pharisees: corrupt religious culture
Sadducees: didn’t believe in the supernatural
Herod: political corruption seeking to destroy God’s people
Build altars to bring people to a place of decision
Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal
Rev 2: The church has
Senior Leader - Angel of the Lord
Lampstand
Altar
Look for Connectivity: How are we connected in worship, walking in presence
Want people connected to the presence of God
Connected to true identity as a son
Calling
Commissioning (Acts 13:1-3)
Foundation Layers Eph 2:19-22, Jer 1:9-10
Watch & Pray
Discern and sense things that are in opposition to God’s kingdom & people
Live in the light
Search their own motives & the purity of their own heart
Must be clean themselves to help the body of Christ

See the future
Ps 119 the word of God illuminates your next step, the word of prophesy illuminates the path you’re going on
Typically interested in the youth, next generation
A Prophet’s calling can come by:
Hearing God’s Voice
Visitation
Impartation
Combination of all 3
Calls initiated - Voice activated. Usually hear God’s voice
How you see the word of God (repentance, identification, Samuel at the house of Jesse)
How you see the body of Christ (want the body connected in presence, purpose)
What’s your motivation (fear of God, Father wants a family, Son wants a bride)
