Prayer of Purity
Father wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Purge me by the Blood of Jesus, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. Lord, create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence; and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me with Your free spirit. (Psalm 51:2, 7-12)
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23-24)
Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth: unite my heart to fear Your name. (Psalm
86:11)

Oh that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me. (1 Chronicles. 4:10)
The Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
Prayers for Growth in the House of God
Father for those who have committed sin in our midst and before You, we ask for life—for the new life afforded by salvation, for life that comes by the Spirit and cancels out the wages of sin, and for repentance that produces transformation and eternal life in the end. (1 John 5:16)
Father we pray that our faith would not fail, that you would bring about true conversions in Your disciples and empower us to strengthen our brothers and sisters in this Body. (Luke 22:32)
Father according to the riches of Your glory strengthen us with might by Your Spirit in the inner man; cause Christ to dwell in our hearts by faith; that we might be rooted and grounded in love, and able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height of
Your love; cause us to know and experience the love of Christ, which passes all head knowledge— and fill us with all the fulness of God. (Ephesians 3:16-19)
Father we pray that our love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
enable us to approve things that are excellent; cause us to be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Father fill us with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, for Your the glory and praise O God. (Philippians 1:9-11)
Father fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Lord, strengthen us with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. Father helps us to continuously give you thanks as we realize how You have enabled us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. (Colossians 1:9-12)

Prayer for the Fate of the Nation
Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with few, or weather it’s with the powerless against the might. We acknowledge our powerlessness in America and ask You to help us, O Lord our God. Help in every sphere of our society—spiritually, politically, economically, socially, and culturally—we cry out for help! God in heaven we trust in You and in the Name of
Jesus name we stand against the spiritual enemy that fights against this nation. O Lord You are our
God; let Your will be done and do not man prevail against You. (2 Chronicles 14:11)
Prayer for Governmental Leaders
Father we thank you for all the governing authorities in our land—from elected and unelected federal officials, to state government leaders, and local officials and leaders. Thank you Lord for their service and sacrifice. We pray on their behalf that their service would be directed by You and characterized by righteousness and integrity—cause them to lead, serve, and legislate in such a way that the citizens of our region, state, and country are able to live peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty. Anoint, equip, and guide American leaders so that which is good and acceptable in sight of God happens in our country and throughout the world today; may the gospel of Jesus Christ Our Savior prevail and be proclaimed so that many people will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
